Season two of NBC’s hit singing competition “The Voice” opened with a record-breaking premiere following the Super Bowl earlier this month. The popularity of the show has prompted the network to sign on for a third season to air in the fall of 2012, according to TheWrap.com (via Reuters).
Sources close to the show say that all four judges, Christina Aguilera, Cee-Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, will return for season three. According to TheWrap’s “knowledgeable individuals,” Aguilera will receive a $10 million pay check for next season, while Green, Levine, and Shelton will receive about $6 million each.
